Vice President of Operations at RDI DIAMONDS
Andrew Rickard's position as Vice President of Operations at RDI Diamonds has allowed him to interact with retailers from all over the country. His extensive formal education in business, coupled with his job experience in sales and sales training, has allowed him to extract sales theory from the industry's most successful organizations to produce programs that both educate and entertain.
He has spoken at numerous jewelry shows including the AGS Conclave, InStore/Smart Chicago and Dallas, Leading Jewelers Guild, RJO and RJO Next Generation and IJO, as well as training seminars at hundreds of stores around the country in addition to their own in-house training sessions. His opinions have been sought and quoted in various industry publications including Rapaport and the Jewelry Business Advisor. His high energy, easy-to-understand style gets right to the point and delivers a lasting impact to both seasoned veterans and novices alike.
Director of Retail Sales at Podium
Jason currently is the head of the Retail division for Podium, a SaaS platform that helps businesses interact with their customers through SMS text messaging and influence purchase decisions by streamlining the collection and management of online reviews. Jason received his MBA from Southern Utah University and has a wealth of experience in digital marketing as well as helping businesses set up customer experience programs. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching the University of Utah Football.
Trade Lead at Diamond Producers Association
Grant Mobley joined the DPA as the head of US trade. Mobley works with retailers and jewelry industry stakeholders to help them take advantage of DPA campaigns and research while increasing trade input into the campaigns. He comes with 13 years of jewelry industry experience, starting with growing up in his family’s retail stores as well as jewelry sourcing and manufacturing in China and Thailand, and most recently leading sales for Pluczenik, the world’s leading diamond sightholder. He is a GIA graduate and a sought-after diamond and jewelry expert that has been quoted in multiple publications such as Brides, Cosmopolitan, Elle, and Buzzfeed and has also appeared as a diamond expert on Fox, NBC, CBS, and more.
